The Baha'i's of the Monadnock region send loving greetings and warmly invite you to the celebration of the 114th anniversary of the visit of ‘Abdu’l-Baha to Dublin, New Hampshire. This annual event offers Baha'i's the opportunity to meet together to pray and enjoy the beauty of the Dublin Inn and its lovely surroundings where ‘Abdu’l-Baha stayed for several weeks during July and August of 1912. They encourage you to extend a personal invitation to family, friends, and seekers.

‘Abdu’l-Baha and His Vision of World Peace

Every year on the 2nd Sunday of August, the Baha’is offer the church service at the Dublin Community Church (where ‘Abdu’l-Baha spoke in 1912). The service goes from 10:30 am to 11:45 am. This year’s talk will be presented by Dr. Christopher White, professor of religion on the Andrew W. Mellon Chair at Vassar College. The Dublin Community Church is at the top of Dublin Hill on NH Route 101 in Dublin, NH. Address: 1125 Main Street, Dublin NH 03444. The church is fully accessible, and there is ample free parking. A reception will follow at the historic Dublin Inn. Everyone is welcome to visit the Dublin Inn for tours, private prayers in ‘Abdul-Baha’s room, and enjoyment of the beautiful gardens. All Baha'i programs are free and open to the public.

Baha'is have been gathering in August for over 60 years to commemorate the visit of ‘Abdu'l-Baha to Dublin in 1912. At the invitation of Dublin Town notable, Mrs. Agnes Parsons, ‘Abdu’l-Baha stayed in Dublin for three weeks during July and August of that year. While He was there, He met with many of the friends in the area and gave many talks, including those at the Dublin Community Church and at the historic Dublin Inn. This year, we are remembering the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, marked by the gift of 'A Common Endeavor', a statement of hope for the future presented by the Baha'is of the United States to the people of America.
